Recent Letters Received Dear Editors, I found this website to be one of the most educational that I have seen on Afro-Panamanian. Thanks for creating it and maintaining it. Tania Thomas-Presswood
Dear Editors, This website was forwarded to me by another Panamanian friend, and I'm so grateful, not having seen or known of it before! I was born and raised in Rainbow City, Canal Zone, in 1961 until I emigrated to the US to study at Syracuse University, NY as a sophomore in 1978. Thus, I've been a beneficiary of the hardwork you so aptly described in your editorials, of my grandparents and parents from the WIs. Though I've lived in the US ever since then, and am a naturalized US citizen, I am proudly Panamanian. I just wanted to say "Kudos" on a very impressive first-read and contact w/your website, and wish to remain connected! Thank you very much for this initiative to educate, inform, and inspire! Dear Editors, By far the most comprehensive, unbiased, and educational website on our history. I applaud your effort and vision. Roberto Reece |
