Chris Williams won the 200-meters, anchored the winning 4 X 400-meter relay team and finished second in the 400.

Charleston, Ill. - The Southeast Missouri State University men's track team finished second in the Ohio Valley Conference Indoor Track Championships at Eastern Illinois University. The Southeast women finished third in the women's championship.


Eastern Illinois won both the men's and women's championships. The Panthers men's team scored 207 points followed by Southeast with 135 and Tennessee State with 95. The Eastern Illinois women tallied 132 points, with Tennessee State second with 117 and Southeast third with 100.

 

 
Sophomore sprinter Chris Williams had a big day for the Redhawks men's team. He won the 200-meters in a time of 22.01, anchored the winning 4 X 400-meter relay team that timed 3:20.98 and finished second in the 400 in a time of 48.93.
